I was scheduled to go to Clippers media day in the afternoon, anyway, and I was tempted to go to El Segundo in the morning and join Kobe Watch.But I resisted temptation because, as I suspected, it was going to be like a Christmas shopping expedition: Lots of people, not much payoff.(Besides, we had two other people there.
